BRAIN AND PERIPHERAL NERVE DISORDERS
At NeuroSpine Surgical Consultants we seek out and provide the treatment that is best suited to your diagnosis and individual situation for disorders and tumors of the brain, as well as those that are cerebrovascular in nature or affect the peripheral nervous system.
Brain Tumor Surgery
To ensure the safest, least invasive and most thorough tumor resections
possible, our surgeons employ advanced, intra-operative neurophysiological
monitoring techniques, including frame-based and frameless stereotactic
procedures. Our neurosurgery team works closely with a multidisciplinary
group of physicians, including local radiation oncologists and neurologists,
in order to offer the latest treatment options available for brain tumor
patients.
Our neurosurgeon uses the BrainSUITE at the Medical Center of Plano, the state-of-the-art operating room that integrates intraoperative MRI and image-guided navigational techniques. This allows him to double-check his work and make better informed decisions, which leads to safer, more successful surgeries and faster recoveries. The advanced technology allows him to precisely remove brain tumors in difficult locations, with minimal damage to healthy brain tissue.
